I looked at several schools in the area for months before deciding where I would attend classes. I chose CDL University because it was the right fit for my budget, my personal life, and my schedule. They got me my CDL, that is the point, right?I tested early, the Thursday(today) of my 4th and last week. I still have to go to class tomorrow to get my certification for the 160 hour course. I think we got an average of about 1.5 hours drive time per day after we started driving. My class size was only 4, a normal/max class size is 5, so you may get a little less drive time in a full class. The first 3 days were classroom, everything after that was hands on training doing inspections and driving the trucks.

When Darin, the owner, said that he believes Gary is the best in the country at what he does, it's something that becomes steadily more believable as you work with him until you're fully convinced by the end of your instruction. Gary does a stupendous job at explaining and breaking every aspect of the CDL test and preparation into simple, follow-able steps. A good example is his 1-2-3 process, in simplifying even the most complicated maneuvers and memorization situations into something simple, engaging, and fun to digest throughout your learning experience.Rawley, our instructor throughout our practical portion of the training was equally amazing. Every moment of training with Rawley was absolutely delightful and it was a pleasure to have him be our instructor. He's an extremely charismatic and likable instructor with plenty of knowledge to draw instruction from.And while I may not have been the easiest person to get along with nor am I the smartest or most capable, I'm hard working and diligent and no one gave up on me when I needed it. If you're honestly looking for a one-stop-shop location to achieve your CDL, the price you pay for the instruction and engaging training you receive is absolutely worth it.Other CDL schools are congested and don't provide enough drive or backing time; you will not have this problem because the classes are designed to be small and effective. You will have at most 5 students in your class at any given time, with an instructor who's engaged with you.In gist, I'm capable of having a better future because the people here really did open up a huge opportunity for me.The bottom line is that I'm satisfied and I'm happy for the people who worked with me and the money spent on this school.

This is an awesome school. The instructors are really helpful. Took me several times to pass but the instructors keyed in on my mistakes..and continued to show me what I needed to do to pass. It took me five times. They never gave up on me. So don't give up on your dream if this is really what you want to do.

I just graduated from CDL U today and received my Class A CDL on my first attempt at the test. This school and the training they provide is absolutely incredible. The small class sizes of 5 people were great cause you really got that one on one training that is very hard to find elsewhere and makes all the difference in you obtaining your CDL license on the first attempt.

Everyone at CDL University truly cares about their students and wants to see them succeed. Their class sizes are small which gives you more time behind the wheel. You don’t feel like a number there instead they form a partnership with you. You will need to study and listen to your instructor. First off thank you to the amazing staff and trainers. From working with me with cost to the training, there is not a person there who didnt want me to succeed. I'm very happy I was trained here and was able to pass my CDL test on my first time. The training is world class. I almost made a mistake and went to a different school and I'm so glad I didn't. Smaller classes means more driving time, more one on one training and that means you will pass. I will forever be in debt to them and can not thank them enough. Life changing. Gary and Dave are amazing instructor's, they know there stuff. Never once did I feel I couldn't get my CDL. If your thinking about getting your CDL, look no further then right here. CLDU was the best decision I ever made. Ever since I went through that school I have made more money then I ever have. Today is my last day of my third day in class. I have to say that the instructors are amazing! they have so much patience and they encouragement me so much beacause as a woman wanting to enter an industry where it’s male dominated, they’re actually very excited for a female to enter their school and get her CDL. my instructor Gary said something to Us that I will never forget. “Your CDL license is not given to you, it’s something that you have earned”. thank you CDLU for taking me in as a student. now I have three more weeks and tomorrow I get to drive!!!!

This is absolutely the best trucking school you can possibly find in Oklahoma. The recruiters are both great genuine guys and are only out to help you.
